This is the 155th Anniversary commemorative gift box from Kuo Yuan Ye, breaking away from traditional standard models with fixed contents. It offers a customizable selection of items, better catering to diverse needs, gift recipients, and dietary preferences. The base box is made from eco-friendly recycled paper pulp, adding meaningful value to environmental sustainability.
The design was crafted by Nie Yongzhen, a renowned contemporary Taiwanese graphic designer. He has won multiple awards in major design competitions both locally and internationally, and has served as a judge for prestigious design awards such as the Red Dot Award in Germany, the Good Design Award in Japan, the Golden Pin Design Award in Taiwan, and the Golden Pin Design Award for New Talents. He proposed the product concept "Kindness knows no rules," breaking traditional boundaries and allowing everyone to express their sincerity in their own way. This concept makes it possible for men to gift pastries to their friends or mentors as a meaningful gesture.
The packaging features a highly artistic design, paired with a modern, colorful, and eye-catching handle, making the gift box both understated yet striking. This series offers 15 exclusive new items, hand-crafted using selected ingredients such as Fika Fika coffee powder, Japanese brown sugar, Taiwan’s Wenshan Baozhong tea, Japanese Yuzu, seaweed sugar, and French spa salt, creating unique and precious products.
Additionally, the 12-ounce Jing Xuan Yulu and Zhi He Xiangdan have been adjusted to around 60g in size, transforming them into individual servings of Jing Xuan Yulu Pastry and Zhi He Xiangdan Pastry. The 12-ounce egg and dairy-free pineapple coconut pastry has also been resized and now features a handmade flaky crust, better fitting modern consumer preferences.
