Description
Kuo Yuan Ye started with traditional cakes, and over a century ago, it combined its handcrafted sesame butter with pastries to create the creamy paste cake that has been passed down for three generations. The sesame butter is made by carefully selecting fresh sesame seeds, which are roasted at a low temperature of 120°C to bring out their rich nutty aroma. It is then slow-ground at a low speed of 1,420 rotations per minute, preserving the butter's depth of flavor. A touch of fine sugar is added to balance the slight bitterness of sesame with a smooth, mellow aftertaste, while French Pyrenees spring salt is included to offset the richness of the sesame butter. This butter is versatile and can be used as a spread for bread, a sauce for noodles, or mixed with milk or soy milk to make beverages, offering a healthy and delicious culinary.
